Questo Scantius aegyptius fotografato a Cipro (Capo Greco, 18.06.09) sembra identico a quelli che trovo in Sardegna, ma non essendo in grado di distinguere le due sottospecie, Scantius aegyptius aegyptius e Scantius aegyptius rossii, non sono sicuro che siano veramente della stessa sottospecie. Perciò ho aperto anche un'altra discussione per gli esemplari sardi. Di quale sottospecie si tratta, in un caso e nell'altro?

Questo esemplare appartiene alla subsp. nominale, come ho spiegato nella discussione sull'altra sottospecie.
