Hi,

I'm doing more tests with photo stacking... this is another result.
Collected this tenebriond (I think is a tenebrionid) at the light in Peloponnese Peninsula near Kalogria (38.160128 / 21.369642) in 28.29.may.2010. the size of the specimen is 5 mm (collected 11 specimens, 4 in my collection the rest are spare... so if someone need them...).
First when founded this I was sure it is some kind of scarabeid but looked better because the smell was very bad when handling this.

Is possible to get an ID from photo?

Hi Cosmin,

Not Tenebrionidae but Aphodiidae.

Tenebrionidae: perhaps a Cheirodes sp.?

Hello Georgi! Happy to know you are in this Forum! I have a package with specimens for you! I forgot it somewhere in my house and I casually found it four days ago moving all what I have in one of the rooms of my house (the ceiling crashed down!)

hihi, this was my first thought ... but look at the legs (5+5+4), antenna and that smell (yes, I know you can not feel that).

I am unable, but probably Piero Leo is able to identify the species (and to confirm if it is really a Cheirodes or a related genus)
