 Piero, Ive got a 3 pieces of other Gonocephalum ( or maybe some other Opatrina ), which have some little differences from G.pygmaeum from same locality. Please, see pronotal structure and wholly habitus. Thank U for Your opinion... BULGARIA - SW., Strumjani reg., Oshtava river valley, Kresna env., VI. 2006, Gonocephalum pygmaeum : 6 mm Gonocephalum sp XY : 7 mm

Pictures named "Gonocephalum sp. XY" are attributable to Gonocephalum (Gonocephalum) costatum costatum (Brullé, 1832) - Tenebrionidae Tenebrioninae Opatrini Opatrina. (Per Daniele: ho messo le determinazioni delle due specie in due risposte separate, così sarà più facile scindere gli argomenti)  CiaoPiero |
