Hello Derya !!! most probaly is Omophlus syriacus Muls., 1856 (length 10-15 mm / Syria and Akbes of SE Turkey) or Omophlus hirsutus Seidl., 1896 (length 12-18 m / Aintab (=Gaziantep) of Turkey). Dear George Thank you very much for your advise and help. I checked the Reitter's paper. And I think it is Omophlus pilicollis marginatus Kirsch, 1869 (synonym: Omophlus marginatus). Because , unterside long, light grey/yellow hair, upper side with same hairs. elytra black and without tooth-shaped projections in the nail base. best wishes, derya |
