Are you sure?Because according to this PDFthe head of A.syriacus is dark and without metallic sheen.But in A.smyrnensis the head is blue with the metallic sheen.Also I found the two specimens in İzmir(Smyrna). http://publication.nhmus.hu/pdf/annHNHM/Annals_HNHM_1951_Vol_42_138.pdf |

I think it is Alosimus smyrnensis, Check both the metallic and not dark colour of head and the shape of I male mesotarsomere. Marco Bologna |
