Fine Meloidae. I don't know this species. Perhaps Apalus necydaleus (Pallas, 1782) |

Thank youy very much. I think you are right about the genus. I found a key: http://www.biodiversitylibrary.org/page ... 1/mode/1up I reached to A. necydaleus but A. montanus is also possible, I think. There is one more species in Turkey (actually endemic to Turkey) which was not mentioned in this key: A. mulsanti So I think it should remain as Apalus sp. |

These specimens belong to the complex of Apalus nycydaleus, including also montanus, mulsanti, which are possibuy only synonyms. Have you collected these specimens for a sure identification? Marco Bologna |
