Stanislav Krejčík told me on facebook that this specimen is probably Meloe glazunovi . It was not recorded from Romania so far, right?

Marco Bologna, can you please take a look and confirm the ID of this one? Also it would be interesting to know if this is the first record of this species for Romania

Hi Alexandru, I think it is Meloe (Eurymeloe glazunovi, but this species forms a complex with baudii and other central asiatic taxa, and possibly are all synonyms. Did you have more tha on e specimen? In case, could I ask you one male for a detailed identification? Marco |

Dear Marco, unfortunatelly is the only specimen I have, but I can send to you if you want to study it, just let me know   . Also I hope I will be able to collect more of them this year, I will be in the field soon, in the same area.
