Questo bellissimo meloide, esemplare unico, è stato catturato a 1700 metri sul passo di Kuskunkiran nella Turchia orientale: può essere una Lytta ? anche se ha le zampe gialle ? dimensione 18 mm.

It seems very similar to the genus Teratolytta. At this locality (Kuskunkiran Gecidi), the commonest species is Teratolytta kulzeri Kaszab, 1958. You can see it, in this paper : https://www.researchgate.net/publicatio ... a_Meloidae  George |

Actually, it s with certainty Teratolytta[i]. To identify it I need to examine this specimen. I recently revisioned this genus and afterwards described two new species, one from Turkey and ne from Iran. If you want my address is: Marco A.
