Abstract: we present the results of the study of 177 specimens of Sericini collected in twenty two localities of North Pakistan. Nineteen species were identified of which five are new for Pakistan. The species belong to the genera Maladera Mulsant & Rey, 1864 (13 species), Serica MacLeay, 1819 (1 species) and Sericania Motschulsky, 1860 (5 species). A checklist of the 35 species recorded so far from Pakistan with some biogeographical considerations is given. Male adult specimens and parameres of the all species considered are illustrated.
A parte le nuove segnalazioni di specie per il Pakistan, il lavoro e' utile con le sue tavole degli edeagi, per identificare la maggior parte delle specie di Sericini del Pakistan in attesa che venga pubblicata (Ahrens) la monografia sui Sericini del subcontinente Indiano.
