Giusto per capirci qualcosa, anche se penso fin da ora che sarà molto difficile almeno per me!

trovo che l'unica specie citata per il subgenere Amosilnus è Otiorhynchus (Amosilnus) pretiosus Stierlin, 1888, mentre l'O. lavandus è riportato solo come Otiorhynchus (Mitarodes) lavandus Germar, 1824
......come funziona!?!?!

It has been 6 years, but even so late, I will make a different opinion (sorry...).
My feeling is that this one belongs to the subgenus Anchorrhynchus. It is a subgenus quite similar to Amosilnus, but clearly distinct.
In Greece are mentioned 8 different Anchorrhynchus, which are an homogeneous group of species, it is very difficult to distinguish between them.
Here I will propose O. (Anchorrhynchus) excellens Kirsch, 1881 (the most common species, with a broad distribution) or O. (Anchorrhynchus) pelionis Penecke, 1924 (due to Maurizio's locality).

Mmmm, it is really difficult...
There are in collection some O. (Anch.) excellens and your specimen it is a bit different.
About O. (Anch.) pelionis, it is an insect that never I have seen. Here is the original description of it, perhaps it fits better :

I have done the extraction of the male, and I am attaching here below the image of the penis in ventral view: it fits quite well with that of O. excellens, but I do not know if pelionis is similar in this aspect or not. I have also succeeded in obtaining the full evertion of the endophallus: I am quite sure that this structure was never illustrated before, so I profit to add a lateral image of it.

This aedagus appears to confirm that this insect belongs to the subgenus Anchorrhynchus.
Regarding the species, perhaps the only difference is that the scales on the elytrae are wider here, compared to Otiorhynchus (Anchorrhynchus) excellens Kirsch, 1881 specimens, which are in front of me. I do not know if this is enough, to talk about a different species.
Perhaps at present the best solution is Otiorhynchus (Anchorrhynchus) sp.
At least, it was a small step ...
These localities (Kissavos - Pelion mountains) are in the programm for middle/late of July. Probably we will be lucky, for some new specimens from there.
