Non credo ci siano molte alternative a Omophorus (Pangomorphus) biroi Voss, 1960 QUI c'è l'immagine dell'holotypus. Non conosco ovviamente questi splendidi animali, ma il rostro più "lungo" non potrebbe spiegarsi con il sesso (♀) dell'esemplare?  P.S. - I don't exclude that it could be a species not yet described!!  P.S. - Can you try to send this image to R.Oberprieler. Surely he will answer you. He is a very kind person.

No Maurizio, quello che hai linkato è un'altra specie appartenente ad un altro sottogenere. Omophorus (Sinomophorus) rongshu Wang, Alonso-Zarazaga, Ren & Zhang, 2011 ...dovrebbe essere una specie "con gli occhi a mandorla", descritta in questo lavoro.
