Buongiorno.

This Ceutorhynchus is from end of may from near Otranto. Ich have the hope that it can be identified, because there are some nice characteristics:

Elytrae with strong green metallic sheen.
Every interstria with one row of strong white semierect hairs.
In the striae I can't see hairs. Striae are deep and nearly as broad as the interstriae.
Femora not dentate.

The length is 3,0mm.

Grazie.
Michael

Is there perhaps a key or an article for the italian (or european) Ceutorhynchus?

It appears to be Ceutorhynchus viridipennis, a species quite common on Bunias erucago. There is no modern key to Italian Ceutorhynchus, they are too many to be reliably keyed without the help of detailed photos (too much time-consuming for a so short life!).

Thank vou for the answer. I will try to extract the Aedeagus. C. viridipennis seemingly has a rather characteristic one. If it's a female I'll label it C. cf viridipennis.
