Thank you alot for bringing me to the right direction  There is also Oedecnemidius saltuarius in Turkey. Do you need details to be sure of the species?

It is clearly O. varius (scales with an oval shape on elytrae, without erect black hairs in between). The 2nd species (O. saltuarius) is different (scales with a circular shape on elytrae, scattered erect black hairs in between). This is identical to my specimens, your photo is good, Οedecnemidius varius is very common in Greece too. |
