Many thanks :lov2: :birra: , it seems my specimen is a male of Procas picipes steveni Krynicki, 1832 (or armillatus Fabricius, 1801, based on the work of Yunakov et al. - A survey of the weevils of Ukraine (Coleoptera: Curculionoidea), P. picipes steveni and P. armillatus are conspecific ).

It seems this is the first record of this genus and species from Romania! :birra: :hp: :D

Alexandru, if you want I'll sent you the revision of this genus (Thompson, 2006) - according to this work, P. armillatus and P. picipes are distinct species

Hello again :hi: , I found the paper of Thompson and we can delete that "cf." from the title now, as you can see the species is indeed P. picipes steveni, based on the rostrum with coarser, ovate punctures, tibiae 2 and 3 with indistinct(?) circlet of white setae at base, separated from pale clothing setae of tibia by a dark gap and by distribution :D :ok:

Regarding the synonymy of P. picipes steveni with P. armillatus, in the paper of Yunakov et al. from 2018 - A survey of the weevils of Ukraine (Coleoptera: Curculionoidea), it is said that "Notes. Examination of type specimen in KUMN reveals that it (P. picipes steveni) is conspecific to P. armillatus." :?
