questo e un Otiorhynchus ? è possibile andare a livello di specie dalla foto ?
se necessario è estratto, dimensioni - 8-9 mm.
raccolto in Romania (Transylvania), Retezat National Park (quota da ~ 1300 m), in 15.IX.2010

Ciao Cosmin, di sicuro si tratta di una specie del sottogenere Prilisvanus. In Romania possono esserci: O.dives, O. dermicapensis, O. cymophanus, O. fussi, O. opulentus. Quindi come vedi andrebbe studiato sotto il binoculare. Roberto |

No, purtroppo. I genitali degli Otiorhynchus sono poco diagnostici nel dividere le specie. Posso cercare di fare un confronto con gli esemplari che ho in collezione con la tua splendida foto, ma non prometto nulla... RC |

I have received this message (on my email) today regarding this specimen: " You posted nice photo of Otiorhynchus sp. determined on Italian website as O. cymophanus. However, the depicted specimens is not this species. It belongs to the subgenus Magnanotius and it is probably kollari or rufomarginatus (probably male). O. cymphanus is known to occur in extreme SW of Romania (Banat)only. " any thoughts? |
