Una sorta di primitivo lavaggio del terreno (in pratica sciacquare in una bacinella qualche palettata di terriccio e segatura sotto alcuni pezzi di corteccia in zona rurale  ) mi ha fruttato quattro esemplari di questa specie microftalma a di cui confido si riesca ad arrivare almeno al genere  Dimensioni: 10 mm |

Xantholinus sp., a detailed examination of the aedeagus is needed for a reliable identification.

Thank you!   I will try to extract when I have time, even though I'm a total beginner to this and only have experience with Scarabaeoidea

Aedeagus is a sack with internal structures, to glue it is not enough - there is needed detailed examination, as writes Aleksei.

Yeah I know the theory behind it... just don't have any practical experience nor the equipment to extract Anyway if this is really a female then we can't go any further, can we? (even though I'm already happy with the genus )Anyway I'll post the other specimens in the days to come, if there's a male sooner or later I'll get the equip and extract
