Davide, Longitarsus apicalis is large species with length above 2.5 mm. If beetle on photo has c. 1.1 mm then is close L. parvulus. |

Lech, I had not noticed that Loris had reported the length of the specimen. Yes, it is not L. apicalis. But I'm not very convinced that it can be L. parvulus (humeri not prominent). Perhaps L. anchusae? |

Davide, in south Europe common is form of L. parvulus with partly reduced humeri. Lech, I have in my collection, some specimens of L. parvulus from the Apennine localities not so far from Sasso Marconi and they have well developed humeri and L. anchusae from Tuscany with very feebly impressed sides! So I'm not entirely convinced!!  Maybe I will ask Loris to bring me the specimen at the entomological fair in Modena, just to strike out the doubt!
