Maybe Oreina cacaliae ssp. senecionis Schummel, 1844, but I don't know very well Romanian Oreina. Ciao, Renato |

 mmmh  Secondo me quella fotografata da Alexandru non è la stessa specie.... ...dimenticavo:  FOTO BELLISSIMA Cosmin!!! Bravissimo!

La determinazione è basata sull'esemplare estratto, egregiamente fotografato da Cosmin. In effetti le foto postate da Alexandru sembrano mostrare un'altra specie. Con l'esame dell'edeago si risolverebbe la questione. Ciao, Renato |

I didn't extract the aedeagus of my specimen, but I am pretty sure it is the same species. I know it looks a bit different, but this is because the poor quality of my pictures   Anyway I have a few more specimens, when I will have time I will prepare them and extract the aedeagus....

Alexandru, surely you're right. Unfortunately, species of the genus Oreina often are difficult to identify without examining the aedeagus. Ciao, Renato |

I hope at least the Cosmin's picture is good enought to get a name for this species
