Family Chrysomelidae, genus Cryptocephalus. On the first photo it seems to be so, that a cavity on the Pronotum can be seen, but the photo is bad and I'm not sure in this. If there really is a cavity at the Basis of the Pronotum, left and right of the middle, it is surely Cryptocephalus sericeus. If this cavity is a technical fault, this is Cryptocephalus of sericeus-aggregate (a number of very similar species in this). Ciao Klaas |

Si può rinominare come Cryptocephalus sericeus oppure è opportuno mettere un cf.?

Sono d'accordo con Maurizio, è poco probabile si tratti di un C. sericeus, a meno che quel Ranunculus non sia gigantesco! Potrebbe essere un C. transiens, ma non si può escludere si tratti di C. hypochaeridis, che non è affatto raro in Val d'Aosta (ma solo a quote piuttosto alte).
