Rather Cassidinae Imatidiini (former Hispinae).

Thanks Lech, it is possible to tell down the genus and species?

I am expert only in Cassidinae in old sense. Former Hispinae are poorly known, in South America there are a hundreds of genera and species of similar habitus (in Neotropical beetles common is social mimicry) and identification of tropical hispines based only on photos is practically impossible.

See here: https://www.biotaxa.org/AEMNP/article/view/5389 (PDF available)
and here: http://entomology.si.edu/Collections_Co ... pines.html (click on Imatidiini)

See how many species from various genera have similar habitus like beetle on your photo (but only few have been photographed in both works).

Thanks! I saw a similar PDF for another Hispinae that will appear in the forum soon, without finding an exact match. Thanks for your reply and effort :)
