Can be, but don't have to be coactivly. I would need to see a photo taken ventral, but I'm afraid you don't have one. On the other Hand I heard about some genetical analyzes with Coccinella septempunctata which make it possible, that C. septempunctata is more than one species within Europe. I don't know if that includes C. magnifica, but I guess not. Ciao Klaas |

Was it a sparse grown meadow? In Germany you would find C. magnifica most of all in heath Habitats. Since Slovakia is more south it is possible to find it in other Habitats, but I guess it shouldn't be covered with Vegetation. Ciao Klaas |

Potendo osservare il lato ventrale saremmo più sicuri, comunque anche a me questa sembra proprio Coccinella magnifica Redtenbacher, 1843. Tra l'altro, il punto supplementare sulla spalla mi pare non sia mai presente in C. septempunctata, mentre ci può essere in C. magnifica. |
