Still scratching my head about my Elateridae from Borneo, I wonder whether this one could be or not an Alaus sp.
Size: 25 mm.

But it was not my fault, I am "not guilty", because in an old publication on the Web (2010) the authors indicated a lot of Alaus species to be present in Borneo. They never corrected this since that time.

I realize from your information that either the indication of their presence in Borneo was a mistake, or that they have been renamed since then either Calais, Paracalais, or Cryptalaus.
