This beetle looks very likely as a Colpotus sp, not Pedinus. Strigose sculpture of pronotum's sides, added to several more characters. Unfortunately, female. Bests, A. |

Non mi pare. Colpotus ha un dorso appiattito e il pronoto con delle espansioni laterali appuntite. Ha poi le zampe posteriori più lunghe. Le striature sulle elitre sono profonde. Questo è molto convesso e tondeggiante.

It seems a female and so more complicated: I suggest the more similar is Pedinus helopioides but it need confirmation. Length is overstated cause european Pedinus I read, all under 10 mm or about.
