... questo Histeridae dovrebbe essere un Onthophilus sp. trovato nel terreno. Lungo 2 mm. Purtroppo è morto chiuso ermeticamente senza riuscire a fare foto migliori. Guardando sul forum noto che il pronoto è leggermente diverso e la clava antennale è bianca. Si può andare oltre ?

...ho trovato su Forum Natura Mediterraneo una tua risposta ad un post su come riconoscerli....sul pronoto ci siamo....non capisco però perché abbia la clava bianca ...

In realtà la clava non è bianca, i suoi tegumenti sono neri ma la fine peluria che la ricopre è chiara e riflette ancor più la luce che l'illumina, come capita a molti altri isteridi. :hi:

... grazie Giorgio....ho visto poi sul web un unica foto con la peluria sulla clava di un soggetto vivo. Quando ritrovo il link lo posto.
