Dear Colleagues, This Trichodes specimen was found in Transsylvania, Salaj county (NW Romania). Could it be Trichodes punctatus? On the map published by Gerstmeier (1998) Romania is indicated as part of the distribution, but he did not list Romania among the countries of occurrence. The Löbl-Smetana catalogue does not mention Romania. Any hint will be highly welcome. Best wishes, Ottó Merkl & Tamás Németh
