Insects captured at an altitude of 325 m in Forest of Avallon (Dépt. Yonne - France).

They are Conops, see viewtopic.php?f=11&t=32645
[The description of these species by Seguy 1928 (p.27) is exact, but his key (p.24/25) is partially erroneous]
- Frons not completely yellow (criterion not very reliable !)
- Antennae black.
- Scutellum black, yellow-reddish on apex.
- Body black with yellow markings.
- Femora yellow with half apical blackish.
- Apex of abdomen with greyish stripes
Then Conops (C.) flavipes ♂ & ♀ (Also known for Italy)
