- Body black with yellow markings.
- Antennas having the 1st segment black.
- Cheeks without black triangular spot.
- Scutellum entirely yellow.
- Frons yellow-redish with a band median black vertical.
- (the criterion of Seguy p.25 concerning the length of the 3rd article of antennae don't seem to me relevant)
Then Conops (C.) scutellatus ♀ (Also known for Italy)
