Una dritta:
E' il Syrphidae più comune, è presente tutto l'anno, nelle belle giornate vola anche d'inverno.
E' una femmina.
E' un vero professionista del volo stallato tipico della famiglia, la doppia banda sul dei segmenti addominali è tipica ed inconfondibile.
