Ciao,
qualcuno ha un'idea di cosa potrebbe essere questa larva ??

iSpot è una iniziativa inglese di divulgazione piuttosto originale, con anche un lato di social network. Io ci faccio un giro ogni tanto, ma c'è certamente meno movimento che, per esempio, su FNM; anche perchè la nostra varietà di specie là se la sognano.

Mai vista! Se non c'era anche una foto a panza all'aria, la prendevo per un gasteropode!
Che sia un Chrysomelidae? Quella specie di scudo sul dorso potrebbe essere fatto coi suoi stessi escrementi.

E .... cito "David Sheppard, entomologist with Natural England, says "I agree with John that it may be a Cryptocephalus species (20 species in UK). It would seem to be a beetle larva (head capsule present but no prolegs) and the case appears to be made of excrement. Assuming that the case was made by the current inhabitant, it has lived under the case for a long time because the particles making up the apex of the cone, ie when the larva was younger, are much smaller than the particles used around the outer parts of the cone, ie when the larva was older. I can find no reference to any other genus living in such cases but neither can I find any reference to a case like this. So my guess is that it is the larva of a Cryptocephalus species (leaf beetle: Coleoptera; Chrysomelidae), possibly of a species whose larva has not been described.". Secondo me non hanno mai visto la scatoconca di un Cryptocephalinae.
