Hola Vittorio, most probably you're right. This one really looks like the H. plana, I Know from Europe,only that it's less flat and more curved in its body shape. Thank you!

In the book "Checklist of the coleopterous insect of Mexico, Central America, the West Indies and South America from R.E.Blackwelder (1944-1957) is recorded about 60 species of genus Hololepta! Hololepta plana is not there - it lives in the Europe and Asia.

Ciao Frantisek, thank you for these additional informations. I knew it was not H. plana, from above it may look similar, but its not that flat like H. plana in shape. Ciao
