Grazie mille, non ne avevo mai visti di questi! Ho guardato un po le foto che ho trovato in rete di Scydmaenus, ma non ne trovo con l'8 articolo antennale fatto cosi,potrebbe essere un elemento caratteristico? In ogni caso posto una foto secondo me fatta meglio...

Yes, it is Euconus, male, sg.Cladoconnus or Euconnus s.str. :hi:

In un recentissimo lavoro di Grebennikov & Newton (scaricabile qui: http://www.google.it/url?q=http://www.z ... tPi0KUHjlw ) la famiglia Scydmaenidae viene "retrocessa" a sottofamiglia di Staphylinidae (come del resto, già da alcuni anni, è avvenuto per gli Pselafidi).
Vorrei far notare che il titolo del lavoro esordisce con la frase "Good-bye Scydmaenidae" :no1: :sick:

oggi è una genetica moderna , specie Dasycerus sulcatus BRONGN., 1800 (Lathridiidae) oggi sottofamiglia Dasycerinae (Staphylinidae)

quello di Honza era un altro esempio di come i cambiamenti si susseguano: una specie che prima era tra i Latridiidi ora è tra gli Stafilinidi.

Sicuramente è un Euconnus del sottogenere Cladoconnus, se la ruggine non mi inganna :oops: mi orienterei dalle parti del kiesenwetteri
