- Pronotum marked with yellow on the pre-apical margin (If black : nigra & albomaculata)
- Sternites marked laterally with yellow (If black : nigra & albomaculata)
Then it remains to choose between linearis and xanthostoma
- According to Jansen E. :
- - linearis has the genital plate ± emarginate (in german : ausgerandet)
- xanthostoma has the genital plate rounded (in german : gerundet)
The apex of the abdomen of our capture has a notch, thus linearis
The author uses also the respective lengths of the 3rd & 4th antennal segments, but the 3rd segment is naturally twisted… only
- a measurement with a device with laser can provide a precise result ! Moreover there exist nonsignificant results.
