The 2 forewings were perforated during the preparation of the insect ! But I have not other male of this species.

Arge fuscipennis (Herrich-Schaffer 1833) lives in Italie (But not in France), this species is close to pagana, but differs (According to Medvedev (Edit.). 1988 : Keys to the insects of the European part of the USSR. III. Hymenoptera. Part 6 Symphyta – Translation in English : Edit. E.J. Brill 1994) by :
- Tibiae and tarsi yellow
- Dark distinct spot under stigma
- The insect is normally greater
