The ♂ of melanochroa and dimidiata can be difficult to differentiate, because the only undeniable criterion is the form of the base of the clypeus (But I have not the binocular magnifying glass necessary) , I am not convinced that the color of legs and wings is enough !
Zhelokhovtsev adds a criterion : "Antennae in male equal to costal vein from tegula to stigma (dimidiata) - shorter (melanochroa)" . It is this criterion (In addition with the color of the legs and the captures of the ♂ & ♀ at the same place and at the same time) which I used.
