# 2989 ate the pistil of Geranium palustre, at an altitude of ~ 945 m. in Cne : Le-Petit-Abergement (Dépt. Ain - France) - 07.06.1995
..........The body and the legs are entirely black, only this species of Corynis has this colouring.
Questo Corynis vive anche in Italia

Please excuse me, I forgot Corynis italica which is also entirely black.
Thus this insect is Corynis obscura (cf), while waiting for that I examine it again.

Difference between C. obscura and C. italica :
The part of front, extending from clypeus (practically invisible even with strong magnification) at the base of the antennae, is :
    - For C. obscura : definitely concave (See below the bad photo of the face of this ♀).
    - For C. italica : practically punt, or even convex.

Thus this capture is indeed : Corynis obscura (Fabricius, 1775) ♀
