# 2208 captured at an altitude of about 885 m. in Cne : Le-Petit-Abergement (Dépt. Ain - France) - july 20, 1988 - Length : about 11.0 mm.
This Abia has a tiny pre-apical tooth.

- Abdomen metallic unpolished : green, seldom blue.
- Antennae : reddish in the medium, brown at the 2 ends
- Forewing stigma bicoloured : margins of basal half blackish, apical half yellow ; cell 3R1 hyaline.

NB : For the former Authors, the species of :
...... Abia had claws with pre-apical tooth about equal of length to the apical - Zaraea have not pre-apical tooth or then tiny.
...... To day the species of the genus Zaraea are classified in the genus Abia, because the character based on the pre-apical tooth is not stable.
