3093 ♀ Captured in Cne : Pontoise (Dépt. Val d' Oise - France) - 14.08.1995
For the keys of determination of this sp., see :
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=34877 & viewtopic.php?f=375&t=35433See also
thompsoni :
viewtopic.php?f=11&t=35831Therefore :
marginella or
thompsoni ---
3093 ♀
According to
Chevin, the punctuation of mesopleura is not easy to estimate.
The teeth of the saw are not very visible.
Thus how to identify this ♀ ?
- We calculated the criterion
h/lg (
see drawing) which shares our captures ♀ into 2 groups:
1st : h/lg ~ 0.20 (sp. thompsoni # 1571, alone ♀ that we were able to identify as such).
2nd : h/lg ~ 0.28 to 0.33 (All the others ♀).
Being given the weakness of our sample (and of our identifications ...), this criterion asks to be scientifically validated !
- The first captures of the
2nd group was all made, during the years, at the latest on August 14th, that is ≥ 3 weeks before the capture of the sp.
thompsoni ♀.
- I thus think that the species of the
2nd group are
marginella, in particular our ♀ # 3093.
But by caution we shall say : cf. marginella
---
2938 ♂
Our ♂ has the mandibles (apex excepted) entirely brown-blackish.
It is thus a
marginella.
