----------
To identify the species I did not take into account the number of cells closed on the hindwings, because
the Authors (not quoted in the Biblio) are not all of agreement on their number !
As for the color of legs it is of the most fanciful !!
-------
Our capture is a
Blennocampinae.
For determination of this sub-Family see
viewtopic.php?f=370&t=21257&hilit=tenthredinidaeWe see on the photo that :
- Abdomen black
- The Veins
M &
1m-cu does not converge it one to toward the other.
- The Vein
3A is
rectilinear.
These 3 characteristics brings us to the genus
Stethomostus---
2 species are present in Europe :
fuliginosus &
funereusThe characteristics of our captures are :
- Ratio of 4th antennal segment (Lenght/width) >2 [<2 for
funereus]
- Legs 3 mainly black [reddish for
funereus]
Of where the determination
---
Only
fuliginosus was captured in Italy
