Ciao, Many characters are not visible (Claws, clypeus, apical tergite & sternite, …). Only the 1st tergite black indicates Athalia bicolor , but the wings seem too yellow for this species (see download/file.php?id=43206). Thus I do not dare confirm your identification . Saluti. D & JP Balmer |

Ciao, - The center of the apical edge of clypeus (but the photo is fuzzy) seems projected ahead : characteristic of bicolor. - According to Zhelokhovtsev : The margin of pronotum is yellow in the male (apparently it is not the case here). - the wings seem too yellow for bicolor. The other characteristics are fuzzy on the photo. With my opinion : Italian local race of Athalia aff. bicolor Audinet-Servile, 1823 (before allotted to Lepeletier) Saluti. D & JP Balmer |
