Biblio. - Benson 1 : RES - Handbooks ... Symphyta ... Vol. VI 2(b) - 1952 - Benson 2 : Bull. British Museum ... Vol. 22 n°4 - 1968 - Hymenoptera from Turkey - Symphyta - Berland : Faune de France ... Vol. 47 - Hyménoptères Tenthredoïdes - 1947 - Blank & Ritzau : Die Tenthredopsini Deutschlands (in Pflanzenwespen Deutschland ... Edit. Goecke & Evers - 1998) ------ Ciao, # 4424 captured at an altitude of about 410 m in Cne : Anost (Dépt. Saône-et-Loire) - 20.05.2008 . Length : about 9.4 mm We use the keys (which I already sent to the forum) here after : download/file.php?id=47394&mode=view and download/file.php?id=47396&mode=view We find that it is a Tenthredininae . According to Benson 1 p.109/112 : we are in the presence of a tenthredopsis, because : - The 1st tergite does not have a medial furrow, but a medial ridge whose cross section is clearly triangular (which I could not photo because of the poor quality of my camera) - The form of the clypeus (to see my photo). The capture is thus a Tenthredopsis ♂ . The tergite 8 of this Tenthredopsis is depressed marginally (I could not make photo) . According to Blank & Ritzau p.234 : we are in the presence (thing understoud) of the nassata-group (sensu Benson). It is now that the difficulties start : The specialists are not more in agreement , because the hindwing of this Tenthredopsis does not have a marginal vein . For some the absence of this vein is enough to indicate T. coqueberti, for the others this criterion is not sufficient : - According to Blank & Ritzau p.238 : other species of the nassata-group can have this characteristic . - According to Berland p.150 and Benson 2 p.161 : T. coqueberti is a form of T. nassata Finaly ; The white color of tarsus 3 also posing a problem , I can be more precise only : Tenthredopsis nassata-group (Benson 1968) var. coqueberti (Klug 1817) ♂ T. coqueberti vivono anche in Italia (to see : Masutti L. e Pesarini F. - 1995) … Avete un parere ? Saluti. D & JP Balmer
