Ciao,
#
2338 ♂ captured at an altitude of about 885 m. in Cne : Cormaranche-en-Bugey (Dépt. Ain - France) - 12.07.1989
#
3218 ♀ captured at an altitude of 914 m. in Cne : Cormaranche-en-Bugey (Dépt. Ain - France) - 13.06.1998
These captures are
Tenthredo s.l..
- The abdomen is black & red
and there is a white spot on each side of 1st tergite
(see the photos)- The antennae are black & white.
It thus acts of sub-genus
Tenthredella.
- The tegulae are black.
- The stigma of forewings are bicolorous : piceous or brown
with his base white or yellow.
- For the ♂ :
- The median tergites have their median part yellowish-white.
According to Benson - 1952 p.123 it is specific criterion , but if the abdomen is very obscured, it seems that there are cases where it difficult to observe the enlightenment (what poses problems of identification)
- The white spot on the metapleurae is of variable size, and is not always present (For the ♀, I do not have enough captures to say it)
Finally :
Tenthredo (Tenthredella) livida ♂ & ♀ Che vivono in ItaliaSaluti.
