I saw this nice specimen in my garden, on Juglans regia leaves. The lenght of the specimen it is (I think :roll: ) ~ 15 mm...

i don't think so :D ... it is a Tenthredinidae Nematinae

alexandru, are Robinia pseudoacacia trees to be found in the vicinity? your sawfly, relatively large for a Nematinae (even suspecting the size is somewhat exaggerated), light-coloured yet with black hind tibiae, is quite reminiscent of a Nematus (Pteronidea) tibialis Newman, 1837

Many thanks :birra: ....yes, here are a LOT of Robinia pseudoacacia trees :)...and about the size, is very probably exaggereted :oops:

Unfortunatelly this is true, every year I see new Robinia sampling growing in meadows, gardens... :cry: :cry: :cry:

unfortunately again :oooner: , Nematus tibialis is a north-american introduced, naturalized species feeding on Robinia, yet it is wholly uneffective as for control of its spreading :cry: :cry: :cry: ...
