Ciao,
#
4906 captured in Cne : Donzy (Dépt. Nièvre - France) - 04.05.2011
The keys :
viewtopic.php?f=370&t=21255 lead us to the subfamily
Nematinae.
It is a
♀.
We use the keys of
Benson.
- Our capture is a Nematini , because : the cell 1Rs receives 1m-cu & 2m-cu .
Then, one is led to p. 143.
- Being given the characteristics of the forewings and the fact that the insect is entirely black (except the wings and the legs), one finds the genus , namely : Nematus
I cannot develop all the stages here having allowed to find this genus, for that it will absolutely be necessary to read the PDF given in the Biblio.
---
Then we use the keys of
Zhelokhovtsev (p.108/109)
- The claws are bifurcate (see the photo fuzzy but sufficient).
- The cerci are shorter than the sawsheath (see the photo).
- The 1st segment of hind tarsus is flat & broad.
- The stigma of forewing is unicoloured.
- The length of the capture is > 8 mm.
Thus it is about sub-genus : Nematus.
Being given the color of the abdomen and legs 3, one is in the presence of the sp. crassus or caeruleocarpus.
---
Now I do not use any more the keys of
Benson &
Zhelokhovtsev.
Indeed 2 characteristics are fundamental about
Nematinae :
- The respective lengths of the cerci and the sawsheat (criteria already used above).
- The shape of the saw.
Let us examine the photo of the apex of the abdomen, one sees that the angle (a
on the photo) is quite open, this angle indicates
caeruleocarpus, that of
crassus being much acuter.
Enslin (p.374) writes that the trochanter 3 of
caeruleocarpus usually brown can be also whitish, it is the case here (
not whitish, but rather pinkish !).
[
We captured in our garden the same sp. with trochanters 3 brown-black.]
All the
authors whom I could read, place in priority the relationship between the lenght of the inner spur of tibia 3 and the lenght of the basitarsus 3. With my opinion, is not an absolute criterion because our capture should have this inner spurs shorter !
Finally this #
4906 is
Nematus (N.) caeruleocarpus Hartig 1837 ♀ ,
also known of Italia.
For
Lacourt :
Hypolaepus (H.) ...
Saluti.
