I examined again the male which I had determined as Eutomostethus luteiventris. The error which I committed was to use the presence or not of Prepectus (according to Benson, they are "not very clear"). ================== Capture in Cne : Châteauneuf-Val-de-Bargis (départ. The Veins M & 1m-cu do not converge the one on the other one. Tergits marqued with orange-red. Namely : Pareophora pruni , Monophadnoides ruficruris , Monophadnus spinolae. Pareophora pruni has :
Of where the determination --- NB : - The coloring of Thorax is variable : from completely black to almost totally red (var. ruberrima). - Also, I observed on 3 other captures that the darkening of wings was variable (no always slightly as writes it Berland) ---- spinolae was also captured in Italy mainland & Sicily
