Tegulae entirely black and The apex of the Sawsheat exceeds the apex of Abdomen.
Thus, our capture is the Genus Dolerus

* Determination of species

Characteristics of our capture :
- Body entirely black, excepted the Cenchri.
- Sawsheat in dorsal aspect apically broadened.
Only 5 European species may have these characteristics or be confused , namely :

nigratus, picipes, novograblenovi (endemic of Russia), varispinus, hyrcanus (Turkey & Iran)

We separate them by :
- The length of hairs of the Sawsheat.
- Their apical curvature toward the inside, present or not.

- Our capture cannot be novograblenovi or hyrcanus, because the apex of the longer hairs are too low compared with the apex of the Sawsheat.
- The apex of the longest hairs of picipes is curved towards the inside.

We could confuse our capture with varispinus (the drawing of Haris is maybe too much simplified), and an examination of the Saw is can be necessary.
- nigratus has the Serrula almost in prolongation of Ctenidium (case of our capture, I was nor able to make a correct photo).
- It is not the case for varispinus.

Thus our capture is nigratus

Only the sub-species rufotorquatus A. Costa, 1864 was captured in Italy
