I excluded the species captured only in Russia and farther in the East, & those endemic of Spain, and D. phalipi (Length. ?), endemic of the south of French Massif Central & of Pyrenees, the Larva parasite Festukia eskia (graminaceous which is known only in these 2 regions)
Characteristics of our capture :
The length of Insect is < 8 mm (that of our capture is 6.5/6.6 mm). Body entirely black, except : the Tergit 1 with a clear membraneous triangle, the Tergit 8 partially clear & the Cenchri. Head with whitish hairs. Wings hyaline (not infuscate). The Tergit 8 without, on its apical margin, a vertical clear membrane in the shape, of triangle(s) (as the drawing of a sp. ♂) or of lunula A single species has these characteristics, namely : aeneus (Body slender & elongated, the Head is narrowed behind Eyes).
[We could confuse this species with the sp. altivolus, but this one has a length ≥ 7.5 mm and its Body is more stout.] Of where the determination. ---- aeneus was also captured in Italy
