Petr, il genere Sawadaia Alonso-Zarazaga & Lyal, secondo il "Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera, volume 7", pag. 124, è considerato sinonimo di Mecorhis subgenus Heterorhynchites Voss. L'esemplare in questione probabilmente appartiene a questo sottogenere. Per la specie, ammesso che ci si arrivi, ci vorrà un po' di tempo.

Yes, you have got true Silvano.... My determinaton was sensu Legalov´s work  . Genera and high systematic by Rhynchitidae is terrible - every year new opinion  - it is a very big problem .

I have almost left the study of Rhynchitidae in consequence of this terrible confusion. Also in Attelabidae confusion is great

I have the same problem - therefore now I prefer study of Apionidae
