Questo potrebbe anche essere il famoso makrisi, che non ho mai visto (sempre che non ne abbia mescolati ai parvulus presi a Cipro anni fa). Però mi sembra un po' strano. Mi viene il dubbio che non sia del subgenus Meliboeoides, ma Meliboeus (Meliboeus). In quel caso, a Cipro ci sarebbe una specie endemica, Meliboeus (Meliboeus) cyprius (Zurcher, 1911), che però non ho mai visto e non so che aspetto abbia. Host plant? |

This one is collected on yellow flowers.. Most likely Asteraceae. |

In attesa che si colleghi T_18 e invii una foto più dettagliata, non c'è nessun altro che sia in grado di tentare una identificazione? Il fatto che sia stato trovato su un fiore giallo (forse di Asteracea), se non è stato un caso, non depone a favore di un M. parvulus, ma l'aspetto è quello di questa specie. |

Questo esemplare continua a sembrarmi troppo stretto per essere un Meliboeus (Meliboeoides) parvulus. Qualcuno riesce a rimediare una foto o la descrizione di Meliboeus cyprius Zurcher, 1911? |
