This one seems to be an Agrilinae Agrilini, maybe an Agrilus.
He has a interesting character hard to see on this picture:
Metatibias are thickened at the middle, and there is a big notch there, with a row of long erect hairs along this notch.
Maybe this could help to identify this specimen.

it's not Agrilus, but Pseudagrilus genus. Impossible give the name of the species without photo of lateral view and of genitalia. Anyway it is belonging to transvalensis/beryllinus group.

I check with the revision of Thery (1930) and yes it looks close to P. beryllinus. I'll try to make later a lateral view.
How do you easily separate male from female of this genus (for the aedagus)?

ça dépend des espèces. Il y a des espèces qui ont les femelles avec les métafémurs rouges, d'autres non. Dans ce cas tu pourras les réconnaitre seulement par l'édéage. Le travail de Théry n'est pas fiable, il a fait pas mal d'herreurs. Si tu n'as pas trop hate, il sortira ma contribution, je pense entre une année, où je fais le point aussi sur ce group (beryllinus).
