This is an Agrilus and these species are tricky to be determined. If you can remember what plant you collected from it may be a good help.

Probably on a Daucus flower but it will help me remember if you name some of the possible plants.

I think you don't remeber well, because Agrilus don't go on flowers.

The only possibility is a Pinus sp. But I am still almost sure that I collected from a flower. There were lots of Daucus flowers around and a few pine trees.

It's not possible, because the genus Agrilus, with its 3000 species, doesn't live on gymnosperms. At least, no species is marked as living on them, in the World literature.
Surely there were also other plants, there. Perhaps not trees, but at least bushes or other small plants (some Agrilus live on Daphne, Artemisia, Calicotome, Spartium, Cistus, Dorycnium, etc.). But none with larvae feeding in pine trees, etc., or adults on flowers (they usually stay on leaves of their host-plant or of plants near it).

Sorry that I am not being helpful :(
I checked the genera you had written on the internet and I am very sure that I had not collected any specimen from those plants. It is being harder to remember anymore on which plant I had found it. But I remember that I collected specimens only from Daucus flowers.

This is one species of Agrilus which develops on coniferous tree, but in Guatemala, not in Turkey. http://www.fld.czu.cz/studiesandreports ... jendek.pdf Unfortunately exist cases when adults of Agrilus land on improper background. I have found a female of Spiragrilus solieri on a Quercus leaf. viewtopic.php?f=73&t=57864&hilit=Agrilus+solieri

Is there any possibility to identify it by examining the specimen? If not, I should write somewhere anymore on which plant I found any Agrilus specimen.

Baris, it's not very important to know plants where adults of Agrilus were found, because many times they go also on leaves, branches and trunks of plants different from their host plant. The only correct way to surely know the host plant of a species of Agrilus is finding larvae, of adults in pupal chambers, in the wood.
Usually, adult specimens in this genus never go on flowers, but only on leaves, branches and trunks of plants. However it's possible that rarely a single specimen goes eventually on a flower.

This question has nothing to do with this specimen. Which Agrilus species live on Cerinthe minor?
